Congratulations Ryan Bonner

Ashland senior football and basketball player Ryan Bonner signed a national letter of intent Wednesday to play football at Eastern Kentucky University. Bonner will likely be playing tight end at Eastern, the position that he played for the Tomcats. Bonner was also an outstanding defensive end during his career at Ashland.
Ryan will be joining former Ashland Tomcat Matt Thomas at Eastern. Thomas, a freshman defensive back at Eastern, redshirted this past season at EKU.
Bonner was an All Area selection ths year and led the Tomcats to a 7-4 season and a second round appearance in the KHSAA Class 5A playoffs. Eastern Kentucky was 8-4 last year and won their 20th OVC Championship.
