Lemar Linton Wins Swimming State Championship In 100 Yard Freestyle

1. The Tomcat swim team finished 13th Overall out of 38 teams. Thats outstanding considering we only had 2 boys competing at the meet.
2. Senior Lemar Linton won the state championship in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 46.26 seconds.
3. Senior Josh Johnson finished in 9th place in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 48.95 seconds.
4. Senior Lemar Linton finished in 4th place in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:42.30
5. Senior Josh Johnson finished 5th in the 200 yard Individual Medley with a time of 1:58.70.

This was an outstanding performace by these two young men and the Ashland boys swimming program. Congratulations Lemar, Josh and swimming coach Billy Cox!!!
