Key Club meeting tomorrow morning at 7:50am in the small cafeteria. Remember $20.00 dues need to be paid by October 15, 2012. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The girls golf match vs Boyd Co. has been canelled. Practice will be held Wednesday from 4-5pm at the driving range.
Friday September 21, 2012 is "Pink Day - Tomcats for a Cure"! Show your support by wearing pink or the Tomcats for a Cure t-shirt to school and the football game. Join us in our support of the American Cancer Society and create a world with less breast cancer and more birthdays,
Spanish Club will be painting the banner after school on Tusday and Thursday this week.
Homecoming tickets will go on sale Monday September 24th during all 3 lunch periods. Cost $10.00 per person.
Just a reminder that all Homecoming banners are due Friday to Mrs. Speaks or Mrs. Barnett
Beta Club will be working on the Homecoming banner after school in room 211. Come help!
The Spanish Honorary
Will have an Important meeting on Friday morning at 7:50am in room 206. T-shirts will be distributed. All members must attend.
Students going to Madrid, Paris and Rome should begin registering this week. See Mrs. LeMaster in room 206 for information.
The first 2012 - 2013 National Honor Society meeting will be on Tuesday Setpember 25, 2012 in room 605 at 7:40am or 3:30pm. All members must attend one of the meeting available we will discuss fees, elections and chapter projects.
Art Club will be meeting every morning and afternoon this week to work on the banner for homecoming.
The French Club will not be meeting Wednesday. Instead the banner meeting will be Thursday after school in room 606. Bring money Thursday for pizza.
Food For Fines
As part of the food feud drive, you may pay off a library fine or pay for a lost book with cans of food. From September 12th to September 28 you will recieve $1.00 credit on your fines or lost books for every can you bring donate. Cans should be brought to Mrs. Payne before or after school and during lunches. No out of date cans will be accepted.
Spanish Honorary dues and t-shirt money are to be paid to Mrs. LeMaster this week. Junior dues are $15.00, Senior dues are $10.00 and t-shirts are $10.00

Sign up to meet with college representatives now with the counselors! reps from Alderson-Broaddus, Shawnee, Morehead, Transylvania and EKU will be here September 20th, 27th October 4th, 22nd and 30th respectively.

HOMECOMING DANCE GUEST REQUEST FORMS:
Forms are available in the front office and are due back by the end of the day, Thursday, September 20th. All dates must be in at least the 9th grade and no older than age 20 to attend. Guests who attend another high school must have the form signed by their principal. Guests who are not in high school must have a photocopy of their ID attached to the guest request form. Homecoming Dance is Saturday, September 29th from 8:00 - 11:00 p.m.
HOMECOMING DANCE GUIDELINES:
All tickets must be purchased in advance during lunches the week of the dance
Dress is semi-formal (No Jeans)
All school rules apply at dances
Doors open at 8:00 and the dance ends at 11:00
Every Monday and Tuesday all vehicles must be moved to the edge of the parking lot by 3:45pm for band practice. If you stay after school this should be your first priority.
Beta Club Members:
You are reminded that you must complete 15 hours of service each year. Check Room 211 daily for service opportunities
