Pioneer wins their own tourney

All of the Ann Arbor Pioneer High School boys tennis flights had a perfect 3-0 record except for the No. 2 doubles team at their own invitational Thursday.

But even in that flight, Zack Bayoff and Garrett Kessler made it to the final match, where they lost to Novi's William Bell and Alex Brizard.

The Pioneers finished first with 23 points. Novi finished second with 16 points, Troy Athens finished third (6) and Brighton was fourth (3).
