Volleyball Cruises to 10-3 Record

With wins over Delaware Tech., Terry and Garrett College AACC’s Women’s Volleyball team is now 10-3 overall and 6-2 in MD JUCO. They now find themselves in fourth in the MD JUCO standings with six matches left in the season.

On September 28^th the Pioneers hosted Del Tech from the Terry Campus. AACC won in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-12 and 25-21.

Just two days later on September 29^th the Pioneers played host to MD JUCO member Garrett College from McHenry, MD. Again it was the Pioneers in straight sets winning 25-11, 25-18 and 25-4.

In the upcoming weeks AACC has their work cut out for them with difficult conference match ups.

On Tuesday, October 4^th the Pioneers travel to Cumberland, MD to play Allegany College of Maryland. Allegany is 8-6 overall and 7-2 in MD JUCO, currently holding the number three spot in the conference.

After a week off the Pioneers will then host College of Southern Maryland (5-8, 4-2) on Tuesday October 11^th. CSM is currently fifth in MD JUCO standings.
