Home » General NewsAACC Men's Basketball Improves to 4-0November 26, 2012 By Duane Herr of ANNE ARUNDEL COMMUNITY COLLEGEAnne Arundel Community College’s men’s basketball team is off to a 4-0 start after another high scoring victory. The Pioneers kicked off their holiday break with a 93-69 win over Pennsylvania Highlands Community College on November 21. Tyler Washington was AACC’s leading scorer with 15 points. Washington also added 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Jalen Lester scored 14 points with 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Anthony Frazier scored 10 points off the bench and Darnell Solomon led the team with 10 rebounds while also adding 8 points. The Pioneers will play their first MD JUCO Conference contest this Wednesday, November 28. The 7pm home contest against College of Southern Maryland will follow a 5pm women’s game.
