AACC Men's Basketball Adds to Win Streak

Anne Arundel Community College’s men’s basketball team improved their season opening win streak to three in a row with a victory over Cumberland County College Wednesday night.

AACC topped Cumberland 99-50 for the 3-0 start to their season.

The leading scorer for the Pioneers was Jalen Lester who scored 21 points. Jarvez Pierce contributed 13 points with 7 rebounds. James Aorilio added 10 points and 7 boards. Darnell Solomon led the team with 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks.

After their three game road trip to start the season, Anne Arundel will finally play a game on their home court. The home opener is scheduled for 7pm Wednesday, November 21against Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. PA Highlands opens their season this weekend.
