The Pioneers had the howling wind against their backs for much of the first half and had some good looks at the goal despite coming up blank. Richland was also unable to find the net in the first half notching the game at 0-0 entering the recess. In the second half Richland had the advantage of the wind finding the net for the first goal of the game with 11:27 left. They would add a second goal minutes later at the 9:45 mark. The Pioneers were unable to make a push for a score. AACC goalie Chelsea Clark-Ames logged a great game, with several saves. Anne Arundel will play tomorrow at 10am against Harper College from Illinois. A win would send AACC to the fifth place match on Saturday at 10am.
