AACC Volleyball Drops Pair of Weekend Contests

          Anne Arundel’s women’s volleyball team dropped a pair of games to two tough programs over the weekend.

          On Friday evening the Pioneers headed west for a 6pm match against always tough Hagerstown Community College. The 2011 MD JUCO Champs defeated AACC in three sets to earn the match victory and hand the Pioneers their second loss of the season.

          On Saturday the Pioneers matched up against a 6-4 CCBC Essex team at Baltimore City Community College. In the first set AACC was defeated 16-25. Essex would take the second set 25-11 to earn the 2-0 match victory over the Pioneers.

          On Tuesday, September 11^th, AACC (0-3, 0-2) will look to avenge that loss as they host CCBC Essex in a 6pm MD JUCO Conference contest at Jenkins Gym.
