Home » General NewsAACC Baseball 2012 Season AccoladesMay 14, 2012 By Duane Herr of ANNE ARUNDEL COMMUNITY COLLEGEAnne Arundel lands three baseball players on the All MD JUCO team and seven on the All Region 20 team while three Pioneers earn Gold Glove Awards following the 2012 season. Sophomore’s Daniel Seeba and Kevin Kean were named to the All MD JUCO First Team and sophomore outfielder Burnell Dailey was named to the second team. Kean, Dailey and Seeba finished first, second and third in the nation in stolen bases respectively. Kean finishes the season with a .424 avg., Dailey with a .417 avg. and Seeba with a .412 avg. Seeba won the Gold Glove Award as a second baseman, committing eight errors for a .964 fielding percentage and Kean won it as an outfielder committing just two erros. Freshman shortstop Zach Weiss also won a Gold Glove for the Pioneers committing seven errors with 119 assists and 51 putouts. Seeba, Kean and Dailey were also named to the All Region 20 First Team. Sophomore pitcher Brooks Miller was also named to the first team after his perfect 8-0 regular season on the mound. Making the All Region 20 Second team were freshmen Kody Kines, Braden Goughenour and Robert Warwick. Hines batted .349, drove in 49 runs and committed just four errors. Goughenour committed one error behind the plate this season, caught 15 stealing and batted .351. Warwick pitched to a 7-4 record and had a conference leading eight saves.
