The Pioneers received some excellent individual play from several players this season and those players have been recognized by the conference. Freshman Sean Johnston on attack and sophomore defender Zachary Treakle were both named to the first team. In 13 games Johnston scored a team high 38 goals (7th MD JUCO) and he was second in assists with 18 for 56 total points. Treakle was the Pioneers defensive leader this season harassing opposing offensive players. Anne Arundel landed three on the MD JUCO second team: on attack Collin Snyder & midfielders Cody Thomas and Tyler Carson. Snyder was the second leading scorer for the Pioneers with 48 total points, 22 goals and 26 assists (7th MD JUCO). Carson was an offensive leader who was glad to step up to take the big shot in the closing minutes of a game. With 31 total points, Carson scored 18 goals including two game winning overtime goals in front of his home crowd, and 13 assists. Sophomore Cody Thomas drew much of the opposing defenses attention as a dangerous scoring threat able to put up goal after goal. Earning honorable mention for AACC is freshman midfielder Christopher Rhodes. Congratulations to these outstanding Pioneers student athletes.
