AACC WLAX vs. Colby-Sawyer

The Pioneer Women’s Lacrosse team played their home opener of the 2012 season on March 7^th hosting Colby-Sawyer College of New Hampshire. Winning their second game in a row, improving to 2-0, the Pioneers defeated Colby-Sawyer 18-8.

With four goals each, Mary Milligan, Erika Arrildt and Meghenn Jackson led the Pioneers offensively. Milligan added two assists while Arrildt and Jackson each had one assist.

Nina Herron scored two goals and had two assists. Jordyn Childress also scored twice while adding one assist. Karlee Zywusko and Brittany Leabhart each scored one goal in the game.

Goalie Brittany Kincer stopped 6 shots in the game totaling 15 saves for the season.

Anne Arundel Women’s Lacrosse will play their next game at Herkimer County Community College, NY on March 13^th. The game is scheduled for 1pm.
