Improving to 12-11 overall and 7-6 in MD JUCO competition, AACC Men’s Basketball continues their late season run with just three games remaining on the regular season schedule. All three games will be challenges as two of the teams sit above the Pioneers in the standings and MC-Rockville, who AACC plays Saturday, is just below in the standings at (11-12, 6-7). With 20 points in the game against Garrett College Kevin Eaglin was the high point man. Eaglin was perfect from the free throw line hitting 8 of 8 while adding 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Erin Senegal who is now averaging 14 pts/ game scored 15 in the game with 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Breon Clowney scored 13 points with 2 rebounds, an assist and a steal. Taquan Colbert scored 11 points, had two steals, two assists, and a rebound. MD JUCO rebound leader Malcolm Freeman grabbed 13 rebounds, 3 steals, and added 6 points with 2 assists. Jarvez Pierce led the Pioneers with 5 steals while scoring 7 points with 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Eric Smith scored 6 points. Jemuel Brown grabbed 8 rebounds and added 4 points. James Aorilio scored 4 points with 2 rebounds. The Pioneers travel to Montgomery College-Rockville for a 3:30pm game on Saturday the 4th.
