Ballard HS Cancer Survivor Named Valedictorian

Ballard High School senior Mikael Perla, who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer during his freshman year, overcame all odds to not only beat the disease, but was recently named valedictorian and will graduate at the top of his class tonight.
