Greater Miami Conference Championship Results

The Princeton boys' track and field team tallied 34 team points to finish in eighth place at the Greater Miami Conference Championships on Friday, May 17 at Mason High School.

Jordan Barber captured the lone first-place finish for the Vikings in the Boys' High Jump. Barber's final jump was 6-02.

Grabbing a pair of top ten finishes was junior Kevin Rainey in the 110 and 300-meter hurdles. Rainey placed second in the 110-meter hurdles in 0:14.79, and seventh in the 300-meter hurdles (0:43.58).

Josh Jasper took third place in the 800-meter run (1:59.69), and Brandon Mullins finished twelfth in the 1600-meter run (4:52.55).

The Vikings' Marcus Placke and Halen Witcher rounded the top eight in the 400-meter dash. Placke finished seventh in 0:52.02, and Witcher placed eighth in 0:52.67.

Princeton's 4x100-meter relay placed seventh in 0:45.83.

In the field events, Noah Jasper finished tenth in the Men's Shot Put after a final throw of 39-11.50.

The Vikings will prepare for the O.H.S.A.A. Southwest District Tournament on Wednesday, May 21 at Mason High School.
