Firebirds Blank Vikings, 3-0

The Princeton boys' volleyball team fell to the Lakota West Firebirds 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 28-26) on Tuesday, April 15 at Princeton High School. The Vikings drop their record to 0-8 overall, and 0-4 in league play.
Senior Richard Morris had a strong game for the Vikings. Morris finished with 3 aces, 4 kills, 2 blocks, and 2 digs.
Freshman James Walz, ranked sixth in the league in assists, finished with 21. Walz also added 3 aces and 4 kills.
Jamal Hines led the Vikings with 7 kills, and Nathan Walz chipped in with 6.
Princeton held a commanding lead in the third game, but the Firebirds rallied back with strong outside play from their hitters.
The Vikings will look to bounce back and capture their first win on their season on Wednesday, April 16 against non-conference foe, Milford. The two teams will square off at 7:00pm at Princeton High School.
