Baseball splits on Saturday

The Vikings baseball team split a pair of games on Saturday, April 12. In game one, Princeton fell to Fairfield 11-1. Sophomore Brandon Blankenship allowed 5 earned runs over 4.2 innings of work. Blankenship struck out five batters and walked six. Princeton’s lone run came off the bat of Morgan Griffen or drove in Jalen Mitchell.

Princeton’s offense woke up in the night cap, scoring 12 runs against Hughes. Freshman Aaron Levy drove in four runs to finish 3-4 from the plate. Morgan Griffen collected three hits and knocked in three runs.

Princeton (2-4) travels to Lakota West on Monday, April 14 for a 5:00pm start time.
