East capitalizes on unearned runs, down Vikes 17-1

The Princeton softball team allowed ten unearned runs to the Lakota East Thunderhawks to fall 17-1 on Wednesday, April 9 at Princeton High School.

Princeton's pitching allowed 9 hits and walked 8 batters.

Jordan Carlson took the loss on the mound, giving up 7 earned runs in three innings of work.

Relief pitcher, Jasmine Vincenz gave up 9 runs in the final 2 innings.

Offensively, Princeton managed only three hits against the opposition.

Katie Boyle knocked in Nicole Lohmueller for lone run.

Princeton (0-6) returns to action on Thursday, April 10 against Fairfield. First pitch is set for 5:00pm at Princeton High School.
