Falcons Sweep Vikings in DH

The Fenwick Falcons completed a two game sweep over the Princeton Vikings on Saturday, April 5 at Fenwick High School. The Vikings drop their record to 0-5 on the season.

In game 1, Jasmine Vincenz took the loss on the mound, allowing 5 runs (1 earned) over 3 innings of work. Vincenz allowed 2 hits and struck out 3 batters.

Alison West took over in relief, and allowed 6 runs on 4 hits over 2.2 innings of work.

Princeton's bat were held quiet. The Vikings managed 1 run on 4 hits.

Jamie Lykins knocked in the only run for Princeton.


In game 2, Princeton scored 6 runs on 8 hits. Mikayla Carpenter led the offense with 2 hits.

Katie Boyle drove in two runners on a single shot, and Jamie Lykins and Hailey Osborne each recorded a base hit.

Brianna Carpenter finished 1-for-4 with a double.

Jordan Carlson allowed 12 runs (4 earned), 10 hits, and struck out 6 batters in the complete game effort.

Princeton returns to the ball field on Wednesday, April 9 against Lakota East High School. First pitch set to start at 5:00pm.
