Lady Vikes win streak snapped

The Princeton girls' basketball team snapped their 9-game winning streak on Saturday, January 18 against #9 nationally ranked, Regis Jesuit (CO) 78-56 in the Classic in the Country.
Regis Jesuit outscored Princeton 24-14 in the second quarter to take a 38-25 lead into half. The opposition shot 47 percent from the floor in the first half, and finished the game shooting nearly 53 percent from the floor.
Princeton was led by Kelsey Mitchell with 22 points on 6-of-22 shooting. Mitchell added 6 assists and 1 steal.
Corneisha Henderson also reached double digits in scoring, finishing with 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the floor.
The Vikings were outrebounded 48-24 in the game.
Princeton will look to start another win streak on Wednesday, January 22 against the Lakota East Thunderhawks. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 7:30pm at Princeton High School.
