Girls Swimming dominates on Senior Night

The Princeton swim program defeated Glen Este by a combined score of 228-40 on Monday, January 13 at Princeton High School. Fueled by excitement from senior recognition before the meet, the Vikings placed first in each event throughout the meet.
The Lady Vikings defeated the Trojans 116-26. Seniors’ Katherine Vaaler and Emilie Buisson each captured two individual first place finishes. Vaaler finished the 200-Yard Freestyle in 2:27.30, and the 500-Yard Freestyle in 6:30.93.
Buisson continued to dominate the 50-Yard Freestyle and 100-Yard Freestyle. She finished with a time of 27.73 and 1:01.73 respectively.
Lydia Sharpshair finished first in both the 200-Yard Individual Medley, and the 100- Yard Backstroke.
Other top finishers for the Lady Vikings were Alison Williams (100-Yard Butterfly), and Dani Rust (100-Yard Breaststroke).
Princeton’s 200-Yard Medley Relay (Vaaler, Rust, Williams, and Buisson), 200- Yard Freestyle Relay (Smith, Ziegler, Collopy, and Sharpshair), and the 400-Yard Freestyle Relay (Williams, Rust, Vaaler, Buisson) each finished in first place.
