Trio of Vikings receive league honors

All-Conference List

A trio of Princeton football players were recognized by the Greater Miami Conference for their individual performances during the regular season.

Senior Tyrell Gilbert and junior Elijah Ball were tabbed first team honors. Gilbert led the conference with 1807 passing yards and finished third in the league with 1200 rushing yards. Gilbert threw for 15 touchdowns and rushed for 20 during his senior season. In addition, Gilbert was named to the Division II All-Southwest District second team.

Junior Elijah Ball finished the season leading the conference with 1037 receiving yards. The explosive wideout caught 58 passes and 7 touchdowns. Ball averaged 104 receiving yards per game. Like Gilbert, Ball was named to the Division II All-Southwest District second team.

Defensive playmaker, Bryant Holloway, received second team honors at the corner position. The leader on the defensive side of the ball finished with 82 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles. Furthermore, Holloway helped the Vikings on offense, catching 25 passes and 8 touchdowns.
