Lady Vikes & Mullins Advance to Regionals

Girls Results

The Princeton girls' cross country team became the second cross country team in school history to advance to Regionals after finishing fourth overall at the Southwest District meet on Saturday, October 19 at Voice of America Park in Mason, Ohio. Led by Lindsay Myers' fifth place overall finish in 18:50, the Vikings recorded a team time of 1:39:44.

Madeline Burke finished 18th overall in 19:42, and Sara Marshall finished 27th in 20:12.

Also running for the Vikings were Vanessa Angeles (33rd, 20:28), Sammi Marshall (34th, 20:31, Brea Pitts (59th, 22:03), and Hannah Hales (62nd, 22:16).

Boys Results

Brandon Mullins also punched a ticket to the Regional meet Saturday after finishing tenth overall in 16:21. As a team, the Vikings finished nineth place with a team time of 1:27:31, which would not advance them to next week.

Trent Barnes finished 37th overall in 17:12 and Brandon Selmon placed 55th in 17:46. 

Other finishers for Princeton were AJ Lohmueller (59th, 17:52), Cameron Phelps (65th, 18:18), Nick Depeel (75th, 19:02), and Chris Heaton (81st, 20:33).

Mullins and the Lady Vikes will travel to Troy, Ohio on Saturday, October 26 for the Regional Meet.
