#21 Lady Vikes win 3rd straight race, Boys' place 8th

The Princeton girls' cross country team won its third consecutive invitational on Saturday, September 14 at Fort St. Clair Park in Eaton, Ohio. Ranked 21st in the state, the Lady Vikings finished the 5k course with a total time of 1:41:12.

Senior Lindsay Myers paced Princeton with a 2nd place overall finish in 19:15. Freshman Sara Marshall finished in 5th place in 20:03.

The ladies' depth has fueled its success this season.

Seniors Sammi Marshall and Madeline Burke placed 10th and 11th in 20:18 and 20:21 respectively.

Girls' Results


Brandon Mullins led the boys' cross country to another Top 10 team finish, as the Vikings placed 8 out of 21 teams. Mullins completed the race in 16:31.33, placing him 5th overall.

Trent Barnes finished 27th overall in 17:24.63.

As a team, the Vikings posted a 1:30:32.85 total time on the 5k course, with an average time of 18:06.57.

Boys' Results


The Vikings will look to continue its success this season as they participate in the Troy Invite in Troy, Ohio on Saturday, September 21st. The race is set to begin at 9:00am.
