Big Win for Lady Vikes

The Princeton girls' basketball team ended the regular season with a 58-35 win against the Sycamore Aviators on Saturday, February 9 at Princeton High School. The Lady Vikes improve to 15-7 overall, and 12-2 in the Greater Miami Conference.
The Lady Vikes jumped out to a 17-10 lead before Sycamore rallied back in the second quarter to tie the game 28-28 at halftime.
Princeton scored 21 points in the third quarter, and the defense limited Sycamore to just 3 points.
Emily Roper played in her final home game at Princeton, finishing with 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals.
Kelsey Mitchell added 18 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals. Carlie Pogue added a double double in the win, finishing with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
The Lady Vikes out rebounded the Lady Aves 41-28 and recorded 8 block shots in the game.
Princeton will be back in action on Saturday, February 16 at Lakota East High School. The Lady Vikes will take on Northwest in the first round of the sectional tournament.
