Home » Boys' Basketball News#1 Eagles soar over VikingsJanuary 23, 2013 Princeton High SchoolThe Princeton boys' basketball team fell to top ranked Walnut Hills 64-43 on Tuesday, January 22 at Walnut Hills High School. The Vikings drop to 8-6 overall, and 5-3 in the Greater Miami Conference. The Vikings and Eagles played even throughout the first half, as Walnut Hills took a 29-22 into the locker room. The pace of the game picked up in the second half. The explosive offense from Eagles used their height and size inside to outscore Princeton 17-9 in the third quarter. Princeton continued to fight back late in the second half, but Walnut Hills continued to execute on offense to seal the win. Sophomore Jordan Bradley, who made his first start of the season, led the Vikings with 13 points off of 4-7 shooting from the field. Junior Ryan Bricking also reached double figures, finishing with 12 points and a team high 7 rebounds. Princeton finished the night shooting 30.4% (14-46). The Vikings turned the ball over 17 times, but the defense forced 19 Eagles' turnovers. Princeton will be back in action on Friday, January 25 vs. Lakota West.
