Lady Vikes swim strong at SW Ohio Classic

The Princeton girls' swim team participated in the Southwest Ohio High School Swimming & Diving Classic on January 19-20. The Lady Vikes had several swimmers drop times, but no one was able to advance to the finals.

Emilie Buisson placed 13th overall in the 50 yard freestyle in 26.81. Buisson also finished 17th in the 100 yard freestyle event in 59.27.

Danielle Rust finished 36th in the 50 yard freestyle in 29.13, 19th in the 50 yard breaststroke (39.69), 12th in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:19.31), and 13th overall in the 200 yard breaststroke in a time of 2:53.69. Rust also finished 19th in the 100 individual medley in 1:16.93.

Katherine Vaaler placed 13th in the 500 yard freestyle (6:23.49), 25th in the 100 yard backstroke (1:16.87), and 24th overall in the 50 yard butterfly (34.19).

Rachel Lemen placed 45th in the 100 yard freestyle (1:08.09), and 26th in the 100 yard butterfly (1:33.38).

The Lady Vikings relay team of Lemen, Rust, Vaaler, and E. Buisson finished 16th in the 200 yard free relay, 20th in the 400 yard free relay. Princeton finished 21st in both the 200 and 400 yard medley relay.
