Sharp shooting by the Lady Vikes in 75-39 win

The Princeton girls' basketball team sank nine three pointers en route to a 75-39 win at Hamilton on Wednesday, December 12. The Lady Vikes improve to 5-0 overall and 4-0 inside the Greater Miami Conference.
Princeton and Hamilton played even in the first quarter, but a 26 point second quarter performance would give the Lady Vikes a 43-22 lead at halftime. Senior Emily Roper would go perfect from the field in the quarter, scoring 10 of her 23 points in the game. Roper finished the night shooting 7-9 from the floor and 6-7 from the free throw line.
Junior Chelsea Mitchell led all scorers with 25 points off of 8-15 shooting, including 5 three pointers.
The defense would limit Hamilton shooting to just 6-22 from the floor, keeping the Big Blue to single scoring digits in the third and fourth quarter.
Junior Jasmyn Hardin finished the night with a perfect 4-4 from the floor for 8 points, and led all players with 10 rebounds. Junior Jada Ballew finished the night with 3 points and 6 assists.
The Lady Vikes finished the night shooting 26-61 (42.6%) from the field, including 9-15(60%) from behind the arc. Princeton did a good job capitalizing on their free throw opportunities, converting 14-19 in the win.
Princeton (5-0) will host Mason (6-0) on Saturday, December 15 at 2:00pm.
