Vikings fall short in season opener

The Princeton boys' swim team opened up their season with a 83-72 loss to Elder on Saturday, December 1 at Princeton High School.

Senior Dylan Dykes finished first in both the 50 yard freestyle (22.93), and 100 yard freestyle (53.59).

Jake Mazzone placed first in the 100 yard breastroke in a time of 1:13.64.

Rounding out the individual first place finishers was Nathan Steinmetz, recording a time of 2:08.15 in the 200 yard freestyle.

The 200 yard medley relay made up of Nathan Steinmetz, Jake Mazzone, Dustin Dykes, and Dylan Dykes finished first place in 1:58.41.

Princeton will jump back in the water on Friday, December 7 at the Lakota Y.M.C.A. at 5:00pm.
