Home » Girls' Soccer NewsStevens, Martin, Powell Earn Conference HonorsNovember 14, 2012 Princeton High SchoolSophomore goal keeper Abby Stevens was named first team all- Greater Miami Conference, with the league announcing its awards early this week. This marked the second consecutive year Stevens has been tabbed with this honor. This season, Stevens led the GMC with 364 saves. In her career, she has accumulated 532 saves in her first two seasons. In addition, juniors Sierra Powell and Hailey Martin each were selected to second team honors. Powell led the offense for the Vikings with 9 goals on the season, ranking her 10th overall in the conference with 20 offensive points. Martin, a strong defensive player, helped the Vikings' defense record 2 shutouts on the season. Furthermore, she provided key offensive plays, recording 6 total points on offense.
