Home » Boys' Soccer NewsRolfes Leads Offense, Defense Earns ShutoutSeptember 25, 2012 Princeton High SchoolThe Princeton boys' soccer team continued their early dominance in the season, defeating the Hamilton Big Blue 3-0 on Tuesday, September 11. The win moves the Vikings to 2-0-2 overall, with a 1-0-1 mark in the Greater Miami Conference. The Vikings started the game off in control when sophomore Andy Rolfes found the back of the net to put Princeton up 1-0. Rolfes would then record his second goal of the game later in the first half. The defense continued to be dominant, as the team recorded their third shutout of the season. Senior Wesley Lashley would extend the lead in the second half to give Princeton a 3-0 victory. Princeton will return to action as they invite the Comets to Viking Stadium for a big conference matchup early in the season on Thursday, September 13.
