School officials suspend Ashley soccer coach

WILMINGTON - The New Hanover County school board unanimously voted to suspend Ashley teacher and boys soccer coach Giles Roberts for one month without pay Tuesday night.
Roberts will serve a disciplinary suspension from Sept. 27 to Oct. 24, according to school administrators. He will not be able to teach or coach soccer during that time. Roberts was initially suspended Sept. 13 with pay.
