Senseney tapped as new football coach at Knightdale High School

North CarolinaKNIGHTDALE - Knightdale High School announced Wednesday that Robert Senseney will be its new head football coach.
Athletic director Guy Blough released an email announcing Senseney's hire.
Senseney has spent the majority of his career coaching football in Virginia, but he is a native of Fayetteville and graduated from Terry Sanford High School.
He comes to Knightdale from William Fleming High School in Roanoke where he went 30-12 the last four seasons. Senseney, a graduate of East Carolina University, has a career coaching record of 79-19 and won two Virginia State AA Championship as head coach at Gretna High School (2003, 2004).
He was the Virginia High School League AA Coach of the Year in 2003 and 2004.
Senseney, who will start work at Knightdale on March 24, replaces Kamelio Johnson who went 5-15 in his two seasons as head coach.
