Rocky River High hires football coach

CHARLOTTE - Former East Mecklenburg offensive coordinator Jason Fowler, 32, is the first head football coach at Rocky River High, which will open in the fall.
Fowler's first team won't have any seniors. The Mint Hill school will wear uniforms of orange and brown. The team's name is the Ravens.
Rocky River principal Mark Nixon said Fowler was chosen over seven other finalists.
