ROCKY MOUNT - Nash Central head football coach Kevin Crudup won't be making the trip to Wilson Hunt with his team Friday evening for its Big East 3-A Conference matchup.
The second-year head coach was suspended for one game by school principal Leroy Hartsfield earlier this week, said Nash Central athletic director Gary Smith Thursday evening.
"Coach Crudup has been suspended for one game," Smith said.
Smith would not go into any details as to the reason why Crudup faced a suspension.
Nash Central was handed a 20-0 loss at home to previously winless Northern Nash last Friday night. The Bulldogs had not lost a game to the Knights since 2005, while Northen Nash broke a 14-game losing streak with the victory.
Nash Central is 3-6 overall and 1-2 in conference play. |
