Princeton High names Derrick Minor as football coach

PRINCETON - New Princeton High School head football coach Derrick Minor grew up playing high school sports in a small community near Elon and attended Western Alamance High School. Those roots made an impression on him that never left.

“My goal has always been to find a small town, a place where my wife and I could raise our two children, that has the same kind of values I have and the same tight bond between school and community,” Minor said. “I’ve found that in Princeton and the opportunity to lead a football program in a town like this is something I’ve been working for my entire career.”
