Perfect opportunities lead Teague back to Reidsville

REIDSVILLE - There were only two things that could have brought Jimmy Teague back to the sidelines at Reidsville High School.
In the past three weeks, those two opportunities presented themselves and allowed him to return to the scene of some of his greatest coaching years.
Teague resigned Tuesday morning as the varsity football coach at George Washington High School, accepting the same position at Reidsville where he’ll retake the reins to the program while also expanding the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to the school.
The Rockingham County School Board approved the hiring of Teague late Monday night, filling the void left by Teague’s successor, Doug Robertson, who resigned April 10 to take over at Person County (N.C.) High School.
