Dudley announces Seagraves as boys basketball coach

GREENSBORO — Dudley graduate and former longtime Panthers assistant Brian Seagraves has been hired as the school’s head boys basketball coach.

Seagraves’ impending hire was first reported by the News & Record on March 28, when it was confirmed that coach David Price was retiring. Price led the Panthers to a 449-131 record, three state championships and five title game appearances in 20 seasons.

Seagraves starred for the Panthers and graduated from Dudley in 1991, when he was named conference player of the year and played in the East-West All-Star game.
