DURHAM - Here is the North Carolina roster for the N.C.-S.C. All-Star Baseball Challenge set for Thursday and Friday in South Carolina. The All-Star contests, co-sponsored by the N.C. Baseball Coaches Association, will be played at two venues. Game 1 will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Watson Stadium on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway. Game 2 will be at 2 p.m. Friday at BB&T Coastal Park, the home of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, in Myrtle Beach. The games will pit the best high school baseball talent from South Carolina and North Carolina. The games were originally slated for Friday and Saturday, but playing Saturday conflicted with graduation for many of the N.C. All-Stars. "North Carolina has a number of their players graduating on Saturday, so they need to leave Friday afternoon," Carolina Forest coach Jack Jolly, who serves as the chairman of the All-Star committee for the South Carolina Baseball Coaches Association, told the Myrtle Beach Sun. "We had to bump Saturday's game to Thursday evening." Below is the team roster from North Carolina:
