2009 Bedford Freshman Football Results

Division 3-1  SEC  5-1 Overall 8-1

Airport 14
Bedford gets a solid win over Airport to start the season off. Two touchdowns by John Sheperd and one by Weston Swick gave the Mules what they needed to hold off Airport. Very strong defensive play held the Jets scoreless in the second half.

Lincoln 0
Bedford was too tough for Lincoln from the get go. Offensively and defensively, the Mules dominated this game as the final score shows.

AA Huron 20
Bedford dominated this game from the start. Big offensive plays put the Mules in full gear. Strong play from Brandon Sunday, Zach Broderick & DanCampbell on the defensive side held AA Huron in check.

Another very exciting game from the both freshman teams. David Fleetwood returned an interception 105 yds for a TD, Spencer Cimmerman-ran for 2 TDs & threw a TD pass to Jon Shepherd.

Josh Ortiz led the Mules with 12 tackles and Jon Shepherd returned an interception 60 yards for a TD to lead the Mules to a cross county victory in SEC play.

The Mules got off to a huge lead inthe first half that seen the Bears in a whole that Bedford would not allow them to get out of. A dominating defense and powerful line movement from the offense side allowed the Mules to move up and down the field.Jon Shepherd, Brandon Sunday & Weston Swick scored the TDs and Josh Ortiz & Dan Campbell paced the "D".
