Frailey's Mustang Mania Gets a Case of Hoosier Hysteria

March 27, 2011
Indiana

Spring break for the Matzen family this year got off to a rousing start with a road trip to Indiana and 36 hours of immersion in Indiana High School Basketball.  In this episode of Frailey's Mustang Mania, you're going to take a trip to Indianapolis to meet the all-time great-Bobby Plump of the famous Miracle of Milan in 1954 and the reason why the movie "Hoosiers" came about.

Other stops after visiting with Bobby Plump at his restaurant include a pit-stop at Hinkle Field House at Butler University, a trip to the famous Hoosier Gym in Knightstown (where we interviewed Henryville HS Head Coach Perry Hunter) and a final stop in New Castle to tour the world's largest high school gym and the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.

This trip was so special that even an hour-plus long episode could not possibly cover it all.  We hope you'll take a look at some of the links below to learn more about some of the people and places we visited (click on each name or title below):
