There can be no doubt about that, and the Interest in the Under Class Talent will be very High, Forrest City’s 6’ 8” Power Forward Trey Tompkins is rated #25 in the class of 2014 by ESPN, when you add the ability of 6’ 0” Guard, Jordan Chatters, the Mustangs can be tough. The Premier Player in the tournament is No doubt, Sylvan Hills, 6’ 5” Guard Archie Goodwin who will attend the University of Kentucky next year. He is joined by Point Guard Dion Patton as players to watch . Hall High School has the #30 Junior in 6’ 9” Bobby Portis, (Committed to Arkansas), 6’1” Senior Point Guard Quan Jones who is a sleeper, 6’ 1” Junior Guard Javon Perry will add firepower to the Defending 7A State Champion Warriors. The pre-tournament favorite would have been Southwind High School if 6’ 8” 250# Forward Jarnell Stokes was eligible, but the transfer will not be eligible this weekend, Sothwind still will have a great chance to win the tournament with the Talent they have on the court, starting with 6’ 8” Junior Johnathon Williams #9 in the class of 2013, he will be joined by 6’ 9” Senior Charles Smith, and 6’ 5” Guard Jujuan Johnson. The team to watch with Stokes out is Riverside Academy, Baton Rouge, LA with #34 PF 6’ 6” Ricardo Gathers, along with Senior team mates, 6’ 3” Guard Louis Dabney, and 6’ 7” PF Ronald Thomas Jr. New Albany Mississippi will feature the South’s top Defensive Player and #38 overall 6’ 10” Moses Kingsley, the first round matchup with Wings Elite team mate Archie Goodwin should be exciting, no one in America gets to the rim like Archie, and except for Nertens Noel (Massachusetts) no one defends the rim like Moses. Scotlandville High School also from Baton Rouge, along with Lee High School from Alabama makes this event the top High School Thanksgiving Tournament in America. Don’t miss the action in Forrest City or catch it on the Web, all games will be on up on the site by Monday for viewing by the Players, Coaches, and Parents who may not have gotten to Forrest City or missed the Live Action.
